Empowering Families
Management of family psychosocial in Indian society such as marital problems, communication between family members, emotional stress, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, alcohol or drug addition, children’s academic achievement is very poor. Dysfunctional families are always refusing to get advice or family management skills. This resulted a collapse in the families among the Indian community and the involvement of youth and young people in social problems is very high. YSS has taken the initiative to reach out to these families individually and provide counseling, guidance and skills required to develop a family potentially in addressing psychosocial problems by their own.
Goals :
Empowering families with skills can help them manage and cope problems/ psychosocial challenges on their own.
Objectives :
• Increasing the capacity of the family in order to overcome their problems / psychosocial challenges and socio-economic development by their own.
• The capacity of their family members should be increased for them to perform their roles within the family and community.
• Reducing the third-party dependency attitude.
• Creating a network of trained counselors in terms of developing the community that will provide ongoing social support in the community.
